I am looking at getting rid of a few parts that I am not going to be using, so I am getting rid of the .030" over Venolia forged pistons that I have been holding onto. They are for a 2.5l engine, and can be used in either normal 8v engines or in 16v hybrids. They have a .927 wrist pin, which is the factory Chevy wristpin. These are brand new pistons and have only been taken out of the box to inspect and to take pictures.

I also have a set of .030" over Hasting piston rings brand new in box as well. These are for the pistons above and are in the same boat. I have no use of them, so I have no need to be holding onto them.

I would like $370 for the pistons and $50 for the rings. If you purchase both, I will sell them for $410. These prices do not include shipping so it will be extra.

As stated, both pistons and rings are brand new.

The pistons have valve reliefs for a 16v head?

The 8v pistons for the 2.5l can be used with the 16v head setups. Plus these have a dish that allows it even more. I would keep these pistons but my build has been put on hold and I am possibly going to change a couple of the parts that I have, so these pistons are not what I am needing. So why not find them a good home where someone can use them to thier full potential.

The Ven's would be good for a Neon head.

Are the piston rings file to fit? What material are the rings?

The rings are standard .030" over rings with chromoly finish. I would suggest getting them finished with your engine since the whole file to fit is based on how the boring of the engine is done. These rings normally go for about $70. The number on them is 2M4206 030 if you would like to look them up for yourself.

Well, as of right now, I still have them. So far there have only been a few people that have shown interest in a set of pistons that are about $100 cheaper then buying them somewhere else.
