I have some suspicions that my SBEC has a flakey voltage regulator so going with the tried and true external voltage regulator mopar used from 1970 until the early 90's was easy enough to decide upon. The KC article was helpful in the decision as well. :thumb:
My goal when it comes to anything electrical on the car is simple, to never, ever cut into a factory wiring harness except only when absolutely necessary. Nothing like cutting up a harness thats only becoming harder and harder to locate with every passing day... If a couple extra minutes can be spent to fabricate an alternate method of doing something.

pigtail connector for the VR was the only real expense in this (AZ p/n 249 $11.65 out the door) everything else was made from recycled components so its even a 'green' fabrication :lol:
