86 turboz wire question

yet again another problem with the z i had a guy change out my valve cover gasket and a wire got caught under the gasket well the wire arc out and burned some wiring up i fixed the wiring that arced out and the burned wiring took the car for a spin today and i got on it and for some strange reason i am hitting 15LBs of boost according to the gauge i have no idea what the wire is for i just know its not factory and kinda want to make sure not gonna roast my motor the only boost this car has ever seen is factory:mad:

got some vacume lines off or mixed up the sticker should be by the wipers if not lmk i have mine out side i can copy it for you.

its not vaccum i checked all the one where he was working and they are all connected i checked the codes and it seems to be getting a code 45

is that overboost or fuel cutoff. or the a/c code? DG said it,s overboost code. like we didnot know that.still say vac. line off or miss routed

so you u still think its a vaccum line or could possibly be the solenoid

i wound think it,s not electrical cause boost is a vac. contraled. try running streight vac. to waste gate can and it will only make 7 to10 lb of boost.ifline is off it will overboost.i just pulled my motor on my 85 z and the pack of vac. line on the back of the valve cover were tons a cranked or miss installed or broken line will give you over boost

how do i run straight vac to the waste gate

a main vac. port .off the intake or the heater valve line.this is a suck through style right. come guys help me out here i,ve been out of these for a 2 years now.
