Gonna sound wierd, but what material is the stock fuel rail made out of, is it steel or aluminum?

It is steel, but I will tell you it does not weld well. I tig welded a fitting on and fuel just seaped out.

I tried to bend the pressure line and it cracked. I silver soldered it and it's fine. It's been like that for probably seven years, it's on my Dad's '85 T&C now and working great. I guess it depends on where it's broken and how you weld/solder it.

Welding a fitting into the FPR port. Going to run an external adjustable unit.

My rail has the internal tube removed, making it huge inside. There is a straight brass fitting threaded on, but there are not a whole of threads on it. I threaded it on with JB Weld, and always pack a fire extinguisher. :o
