Road trip yesterday!
Thelma and I met up with our neighbor Mary and her boyfriend "J"
yesterday in Scottsburg, Indiana where J lives. They drove his 1971
Yellow Corvette and we took the 'Cuda. Drove down to Madison, Indiana
along the river. It was a beautiful drive. Stopped on the riverfront
for some great bar-b-que. We then went across the bridge into Kentucky, hung
a right and drove in a huge loop on two lane roads coming back into
Milton, Kentucky.
About half way thru the trip we switched cars and Thelma and I drove
the Vette back to Clarksville, Indiana where we stopped at Ruby Tuesdays
and had supper. Driving the Vette brought back some of my old
Corvette memories. I think J and Mary probably made some new memories
driving the 'Cuda.:-D
I think we covered around 300 miles.....the 'Cuda never missed a beat!
Here are some pics of the day.

Mary and J......in fact they are driving the 'Cuda in all of the pics. I'll
have to get Mary's pics and post them up later. I think she took some
of Thelma and I driving the 'Cuda and the Vette.

At one time we ran into a couple of miles of dirt road. Being true
enthusiast's J and I just slowed down and continued on. This is what
separates the enthusiast's from the pu$$ies.
Every where we stopped we drew a crowd.:-D
While on the riverfront in Madison a group had gathered around us. J said
later, you know after 15 minutes someone finally noticed the Vette.
It is a nice Vette, I really like it......but there a lot of Mopar lovers out
there. I've had people at gas stations, stores, car washes asking if they can
take a pic.......makes my day! :D
