I have a sway bar from an '89 Daytona Shelby and am curious as to what size this is supposed to be? And what do you think it is worth? How about the control arms from the same car, I think I remember reading that they're worth a couple bucks too. Let me know! Thanks.

*Should be 1.25", don't know without measuring it though. I recently paid $65 shipped for one, so that's what it'd be worth to me. YMMV.

Ok cool, thanks for the info.
And it's weird, I've been a member of these message boards (TD.com and TM.com) for almost 5 years now and I don't know what YMMV stands for :o

I don't either...but I know for absolute certain that a 1989 Shelby Daytona swaybar is 1-1/4"

*IF* it's still the factory bar. Strange things can happen in 17 years.

YMMV= your mileage may vary, a spin on your results may vary.

Being that technical... I said I know for certain that 1989 Shelby's came with the 2-1/4" bar...meaning from the factory. Not talking about what happens in between.

Could be 1 and 1/4 or 1 and 1 1/8.

Measure it for sure.
