Well my DD pump shitt the bed, barely used for 2 years, has a one year warranty. Couldn't figure out why my level never moved, ack!

Don't throw it away. Give it to me. :) Brushes are like 6 bucks.

In Chilliwack I go to A1 Starter. I pull the brushes and bring them in, they have hundreds of sizes, they just match them up. I havent done an alky pump yet, but lots of small motors for work. As long as the stator aint fubar, it should be good.

I'll pull it apart tomorrow.

Just did now, it's fubared, not DD's fault, looks like a kid built it. The stator shaft is bent due to the pump drive gear not centered, so it put a side loading on the stater and of course, over time, bent it. You can see the skip marks on the commutator, :(

Probably got some names wrong but you get the picture.

Bummer. Keep the top end for the seals, the motor itself is made by Sureflow.

Yeah, its got surflow written all over it.

Guess no alky for me unless I find a cheap pump. DD want's $100.

Just talked to DD, they are going to give me a deal on the bigger pump. :thumb:

On its way, according to their charts, I just added 50% more alky due to the bigger pump without rejetting, :amen:
