Spyder posted a few pics back in May of this year. Since then, I've replaced the fuel tank, pump and sending unit, New tires and wheels (thanks Chuck), fixed the wipers and one window gear. Still have a rattle from a rear shock to fix and need to do something with the sagging headliner. A/C compressor turns on intermittently and door locks do not work yet.

Drove it to Woodward last weekend for its inaugural drive. The car has just over 80k on the clock.

Sorry for the poor pics.

That's interesting, I've never seen one with the short console, bucket seats, and a column shift before. Can you post a better picture of the console?

Yeah, there was some deal about the console when my grandfather ordered the car. Something like you could not get it with a column shift in the US. My uncle worked for Chrysler at the time and made a few calls and this is how it showed up. I also seem to remember my grandmother not wanting another bench seat car.

The car has last ran in 2001 (parked in Fla) and was used for going to Florida from Michigan every year. Can you imagine my grandfather's shock....he used a 1975 Chrysler T&C SW for this trip previous to this car.......I think this car would hold 1/4 of the junk he liked to take with him.

Still a one family car!....The sect of state let me keep the original title since it was over 25 years old.

Yeah, I put the swiss on the car. It had wire baskets. These look much better.

I fixed the rattle tonight.....WAYYYYY better to drive now!!

I just bought an 87 yesterday same paint scheme as yours but mine is not as nice. The passenger side rear window was broken and replaced with one that is not as wide as the window opening. The guy I bought it from said he got it from the junkyard and it was slightly smaller and the window track is fubar. Any idea what models I can get that window glass out of? Really nice looking car you have!

Any Aries or Reliant should have the same rear windows.

Did they change the window size anytime in the years? I want to say he got this out of a k-car and it's not wide enough for the window opening. Shaker sorry for intruding on your thread but I figured if someone would know about odd size windows in one of these they would be reading your thread or you may know yourself.

I'm not sure what the difference is, but Hollander interchange is showing 86-88 Lebaron wagon, or 86-89 K car wagon only. I'm not sure what the difference is with the wagon doors?

It must be that they are wider since I think I have a regular k car window in it now and its not wide enough for the opening. Thanks for the info on what fits now actually have to find one.
