91 Shelby Daytona Rolling Chasis with Koni Adjustables, No motor!

I have a really nice straight 91 Daytona, for someone looking for a sweet 91 Daytona Shelby .. It has Koni Adjustables and STL Caravan brakes and appears to have been slightly lowered. This was a car built by Mike Dumoss.

1000 Takes it..

if you want the motor transmission and exhaust throw in and extra 1000... it has stainless 3" exhaust all the way back and a built motor with turbonetics turbo, and a568 transmission.

Camarillo is between LA and Santabarbara in Southern California. The car is blue, has been repainted, but it very faded and has oxidation and will probably need to be repainted, although the body is pretty straight.

Wow, I got excited when I saw the IL plates and it was local... how long have you had it in Cali? Does it run well enough to drive it back to IL?

I've had it in Cal about six years and the person before me had it in Cali about 5 years. The car does not run, and will need to be towed.

OK, now I'm confused as the pics with IL plates are from 2008?

Right... the 2008 picture has the Ilinois plate, which is what confuses me as the car has been in Cali for 11 years, so since 1999? :confused2:

Yea, the car still has IL plates, since I never registered it. The previous owner had IL registration because that's where his permanent residence was, but since he was a professional football player he was all around, mostly in Cali and Texas. Now that I think of it, I've only owned the car 4 or 5 years I was thinkin 6 years cause my dad keeps telling me it's been here for 6 years but he's wrong I've had it since 06 or so). The previous owner owned a long time before that... You can car fax it if you want. I'm not trying to pull anything here... I know it's been in California a long time... the pro NFL guy brought it out here.

I was just curious when it was in IL...

Which NFL guy? Could be a cool history on the car...

His name is Austin Wheatley, when he got signed one of the first things he did with his money was send his car (the 91 Daytona Shelby) to Mike Dumoss from FWD Motion who fully built the motor, and did the other modifications to the car. When he sold me the car he said he was enjoying "breaking off" all his friends'(where were all pro NFL guys) Ferarris and Lamborginis. I thought that was hilarious.

With the strict California emissions nazi's I just assumed he kept it plated in IL to avoid all of the headache.
