Well my plans to get this thing going with a turbo engine or v6 5speed setup are not moving as fast as I hoped. Tossing it out there if someone was interested, if not I will continue using it as a storage shed.

Blue Canadian caravan with zero factory options.

NO A/C
NO Auto (5speed a525)
NO tilt
No cruise
No PS
No cassette
No rear defrost.

It has some dog leg rust and the slider has some cancer on the bottom. Van runs but has no exhaust and being a stupid carb'ed 2.2 sucks at running.

Someone may be able to do a little work and make it a daily as-is but I purchased solely for a drive train swap.

Pics hopefully later today.

That could have even been a radio delete van since it has what appears to be a dealer installed Mopar radio.

Why do people park their projects in grass? The undercarriage won't last long!!

That would make a great project! Good luck with the sale!

Where else do you park them when you have more than 50?

Acid? I know of folks spring them inside and out with oil, but never acid. What kind do you use? And why doesn't the acid corrode the metal?

I was being a smart as$ when I have people complaining that one of my project cars was sitting in grass.

OOOOOOOH! Everybody likes a little a$$, not many like a smart a$$. LOL gotcha. I even asked a guy today who used to own a salvage yard and he was clueless.

Gotta be rare in "not white"

You can use an acid, phosphoric acid, it converts the rust. It used to be in CLR but the enviro-police got to them, however, the cheap generic CLR type stuff next to it on the shelf in Walmart has the good stuff in. Well naval jelly or similar rust killer has it as the active ingredient, but if you want something cheap to put in a sprayer and hose down a whole vehicle with then that would do okay... but on significant rust it would probably leave it still porous and prone to further attack, so unless you were parking something up in Arizona I'd still use oil on top.
