just added fuel and boost ....to my new cb 2.2 build........clutch is now weak (slipping )link
goal 20 psi boost on + 20,s max
street tires/slicks
car with driver weight 2520 pounds
87 sc t2
have autozone t2 stock clutch .(worked ok at 15 psi but new injector and boost did it in....or maybe its just worn
any thoughts??????:confused:

If it will be seeing serious slick time with some decently hard launches, I would go with a little heavyier clutch than a T2/T3.
I have a clutch masters stage II clutch in my omni, and it now slipps at 15PSI. It is what came in the car though, so I don't know specifics about the clutch other than it does not have a lot of miles on it at all. I beat it hard while it still held though. YMMV.

i might end up needing more clutch.that will be next i guess :)

You'll be wasting $160+ when that clutch start slipping.

yea and besides waisting 160 bux you'll waist time putting it in and taking it back out. I run a clutchmasters stage 4 it holds the power. so far i have smoked everyother clutch i've tried. rps carbon, sachs carbon ceramic, sachs full ceramic, and a couple others. when you increase boost in a heavy car it kills your clutch and launching like your trying to reach the moon helps it die so much faster too. just my experiences...good luck bud.

update.......clutch is seeing 18 psi and holding.......should be ready for racing.............
