Car came from Hawaii, there is NO rust, very nice paint, very nice interior, and the engine-transmission are 100% stock. So what do you guys think ???

Enjoy

The only way to make that car look nicer, in my opinion is to put a black 90+ interior into it but leave the 85 seats. That is one sexy looking Daytona.:thumb:

Looks great (note to self - get Z bodykit) there's not many nice original early Daytonas about ... extra score on getting the skirts, too! Really needs an '84 steering wheel though ;)

Very nice man 2 thumbs up.... And it is funny you found a Z car like that because I went to a yard yesterday and found a just about "MINT" 86 Z sitting over to the side possibly forsaleI told them I wanted the car and if they sold it I wanted it and to call me, It had a small amount of rust on the froorpan so I may get me another toy

HOLD ON---I did not say that this was my Daytona. I don't even fit into it very well. There is no tilt wheel and the side bolsters are not user friendly to me. The car belongs to one of my friends who does not belong to any boards. After I prodded him about NOT driving it he finally got it out of moth balls and brought it to my house.

He also owns this car...2006 Charger SRT8

Enjoy the pics
Chuck

PS--But he did say thanks for all the compliments.

What an incredibly nice turbo Z. But I can't for the life of me figure out why it doesn't have tilt steering. I can see in the pics it clearly does not. I thought tilt steering was standard on the turbo Z's. I guess it wasn't. Or somebody switched the column but I doubt it with the condition. I'll have to dig out the Daytona brochures I guess. :eyebrows:

They came standard on 84s, in 85 they started out with them and they switched to the 86 style, mid way through, my 85 doesn't have it as well

It is an option, I have had a few turbo z's with no tilt
