Went to the mopar show today and made some runs in hottest part of the day. And it was HOT, in the 90's and the air quality sucked. But I still managed a best of 8.45!!! I'm slowly getting this new combo tuned in. Boost was @ 23psi max. I now have 4 stages of boost, so I can ramp it slowly for street tires.

Thanks, I'm getting closer to my 7.8 second goal on street tires. If I make a pass that quick, I should be able to bust an 11 second 1/4!!

good work...an 11 second glhs sounds great, especially on DOT tires.

It's getting closer. I figure with as hard as my car pulls up top, that 8.45 would of been a 12.6 to 12.7 in the 1/4. To keep traction on 300 treadwear tires, I'm really only ripping on the last half of the 1/8th mile.

Not 100% sure, but going by the known weight of these cars to start with, and knowing pretty close to how much I lightened things up, I'd say about 2400lbs with me in it. Give or take a little. The car has full interior, minus carpet & back seat. The front seats are lightweight ones. I'll eventually get it weighed to find out for sure. I'm gunning for 100+ mph in the 1/8th. The boost level Iam running at right now (23 to 24 psi max) and with the way I have my engine set up, I'm still able to run pump gas (93 octane). I'm a long ways from the edge yet!

Your car makes a damn good impression!! Yea, it has gotten faster every time out. I'm really getting a grasp on what this combo likes, but I still have a long ways to go. I heard alot of nice comments towards our cars from alot of the people checking them out. It won't be long and Iam going to let mine rest a bit to fix the little quirks I have that's holding my car back somewhat.

Well it has taken me awhile and I have worked hard at trying to make a 8V breath good past 6000rpm. I was shifting a 6400rpm on this last outing so I could get well into 3rd gear. On the previous outing, I was running the 1/8th out still in 2nd crossing the line @ 7000+ with the engine still pulling hard! Right now Iam a little confused because my mph on both ways of shifting is pretty much identical. Undoubtably the HP & torque curve must be extremely flat over a wide margin. Iam going to experiment with some things to try and help the upper rpm HP some more.
