1989 Shelby CSX. Wide tires and Reccaros. Motor and clutch have less then 1k on them. 3inch exhaust, otherwise stock. Has some body damage but it isn't structural, runs and drives fine. Ive been driving it this way for years. I have a new door for the passenger side, and the missing sideskirt. All Shelby stuff intact except for front and rear bumpers. NO RUST! $2500

If you have anymore questions, just shoot me a PM. The only thing really wrong with this car mechanically is it gets hot on the freeway. It needs the radiator cleaned out. It only does this when it is 90+. Car is located in Benton City WA

How many miles on the car? Also, you say the engine has 1k miles on it, was it a rebuild or swap? if swap, what year engine is in it? and does the original block come with it?

The car has 150k on it give or take. I had the original motor rebuilt after it had some bearing issues. It has been gone through from top to bottom. I also had a t2/t3 clutch installed at the same time. The only thing that isn't original, is the tranny. The stock one was a single pin diff, that came out and destroyed the tranny. I installed one from a 89 Shelby daytona that shifts perfectly.

I dont know why or how I forgot, but it no longer has the VNT. It has a t2 turbo. I have all the vnt parts in a box, and they will go with the car.

Great price on a great car....

Isn't there anyone in New England with an '89 CSX looking to unload it? Always seems to be on the west side of things...

This car WILL NOT get parted. I bought it from the young kid that wrecked it, as he was going to part it out. He wasn't wanting to sell it whole, so I called him mom and told her how rare it was and that I wanted to save it. So, she made him trade me a neon I had and some cash. If it doesn't sell, it doesn't sell. I came up with the $2500 price tag from the sum of the parts, not the car as a whole. If I sell it for anything less then that, chances are it will get parted out. I need the cash, but if this doesn't move I'm going to put my truck up for sale, as its a cummins and will be gone in a week :)

Can you believe I'm selling this to make the wifes car payment while I'm not working? Life sucks....

Man I would flip burgers 3rd shift or stock shelves at wally world first.. There is always someone out there needing a good worker, even if it is not in your field.

You can pound the pavement during the day for the better job.

The thing is, I cant work. I would much rather be working then sitting at home. I have degenerative disk disease at 25, long story short I have destroyed the cartilage in my lower back. I'm currently fighting with LnI to get my workers comp. They have pulled their normal crap of sending me to a quack Doctor who said nothing is wrong with me and discounting what my doctor and the MRI people have said. My wife is talking about getting a second job, but she has to to so much as it is (I cant even take out the garbage). I don't want her to have to do that. This car IS a toy and not a necessity, so if it has to go, it has to go. Like I said, sometimes, life sucks!
