OK, we are currently offering a group buy on the fidanza LW steel flywheel. these will work with all 8 bolt crank 2.2 and 2.5 PLUS the t-3!!! (great for racing where they check for alumimun FW's, and great for the t-3 that needs a steel FW for the crank sensor)
Price is $319 plus shipping (around $20 in the usa) The group buy will be open for 2 weeks or the first 6 people, whichever comes first. Once we close the group buy, expect 3-4 weeks for production and a week for shipping. Our regular price for these after the group buy will be $379
Group buy price is ONLY for the group buy people, so please don't call me 2 months from now for the "special group price" becuase you won't get it.

the weigh 13.6 pounds. A think a t-3 FW weighs about 21 and an 8v weighs about 19

Do you have any pictures? Will it have a insert in it like the aluminum ones? I'm guessing not... and since it is made by Findanza I don't think it would be a stocker with a bunch of holes drilled into it......

No, these are NOT stockers drilled. These are custom made by fidanza. The pciture on our website shows the 17lb version. The 13.6 version looks just like it but there is a series of holes drilled along the outer edge. I will look through my database and see if I can dig up a recent picture. These do no use the steel insert that the Alum. FW's do, because it is already made of steel.......

Could you possibly check to see what it would take for SFI certification? I would doubt it would take anything at all except a call from Fidanza to the "higher ups"

I can ask them on Monday, but I was told that the chryslers FW (both alum and steel) were not sfi cert. because they are made in limited runs and that the testing and certification process was expensive. They didn't see a need becuase they sell so few of these.

I think I know what you think is the reason why and it is related but not what you think. I really did just spend about 800 bucks on parts to rebuild the 48re in the truck. Looking like I'll have 12 cars to haul 20 hours away, trying to avoid any breakdowns. LOL
