Wow, those look really cool. I wonder how bright they are when you look dead on at them. The ones I have on my shift light will leave spots in my vision at night if I don't put the cap on it.

Not sure, maybe give em whirl Frank.

I know the first ones you posted suck, because they only point the light outward so they aren't much better than stock but those 2nd ones look bright. I've been tempted to try them but never got around to it. I do need to order these though-

some are too big to fit into the factory housings though, make sure you have room, you also may need to get an electronic flasher, or a load kit to add resistance, although most of the time you can simply wire a 194 bulb into the circuit to take up resistance, here are some notes and where I buy mine

oh and the second one should be alot brighter

Ya I will probably get the second ones. They have the highest lumens.

I might change out all my flashers, etc. Superbrightleds.com are the ones who have those and they also have modules for flashers to keep your blinkers working.

get the 360 degree ones for sure, they reflect the light off the tailight housing like it was designed for, and then you wont get tail lights that look like you only have a couple spots shining through...

I have LED's in everything on the Daytona. I sell them too if anyone wants some. They're $15 for dual filaments or $12 for single (for exterior lights like brake and turn, 27SMD LED). Interior lights are mostly $5. The GTC will have quite a few LED's as well.

In the case of the Daytona, I had to get an LED flasher unit from superbrightleds. Everything else, I can beat them on price.

While I fail at searching for it, there is a thread about this, including the ups and downs of various styles and makers, as well as the best place to buy... I even suggested it be made a sticky and/or made into a KC article, but...

I dont like the light LEDs give off, its too focused and cold.

but never having to change a bulb again is tempting, wonder how reliable those arrays are.

The lights I use splay the light in the same way as a the filament types. I can take pics of my Daytona if you want. The color is for sure different, but in the case of interior lighting, thats what people are looking for - that and you can leave your door open overnight and not kill the battery. Ok, here is the thread that discusses the LED bulbs, etc... I still think this would be a good sticky or KC fodder.

Second, I have to say the search function here BLOWS... Am I the only one that can't seem to find anything with it? I'll start a thread in the appropriate section, I don't want to hijack or distract from the OP...
