Do I have any options for a stw with this tranny? I know the a568 has one available but what about the a555?

I think there was a guy on the "other" site making true STS's. I cut mine and had it welded back together and relocated the reverse pull up pin. Works great!

The one I have is a 568 shifter. I am pretty sure he can do the same mods to a 520/555 shifter. He raises the height of the height of the base and extends the tabs that the cables hook onto as much as possible. Then he cuts down the arm a bit.

Overall I like it but I had issues with it because one of my cables was worn slightly. With a stock shifter the car shifted fine, but once I installed the STS it got really tight. I had to put in a new selector cable and it shifts really well now.

Chuck (mad dog) is the man. Legendary in the Neon community. Great quality/craftsmanship. He'll do custom shifters too, long handle, short handle, different % reduction, etc. I don't know how many options he offers for the pull up reverse lock out shifters, check the website and contact him.
Nice guy too.

I didn't know Jackson was doing shifters. In my opinion, anything he touches becomes art. Also a good guy.

I have a maddog shifter in my rampage. I love it, as I no longer feel like I'm rowing a boat when shifting.
