So I'm doing a SBEC cal for someone and I was wondering what's the best way to go as far as chips are concerned. It appears my options are to get a chip converter so I can use the 27sf512 chips I have already or buy the 87c257 chips and a UV eraser. It seems i'll spend about the same either way. Are there any options I'm missing?

Best bet is to get a converter from "quantam" or FWD and use SMEC chips.

I'd probably get the converter and do the tuning with that and get a blank 87c257 chip to replace the converter with once it's all tuned in.
