To start up a new chapter? We have quite a few locals here that are into these cars but the closest chapter I can see is down in portland which is 5 and a half hours away and across a border.

You guys had a chapter! Mike Baynes founded it back in 2000 or 01. The website came up in searches as recently as a couple years ago but I got nothing when I searched for it just now.

The chapter just lapsed into nothing because of lack of interest. I haven't heard from Mike in years either. But if he is still around, he has the current rights to the chapter so you need to contact him to see if he wants to let it go.

Keep me up to date and we will try to make something happen for you guys.

You guys now need to get together to decide who is going to run the chapter. Since the basis of a chapter is getting the guys together I don't want the selection process to be an online thing or in this thread.

Then, when a chapter leader is picked, that guy email or PM me (email is my preference).

I got the chapter paperwork back from Don Gilbert and it is official that BC Canada has a new chapter! :thumb::thumb:

I already listed it in this last newsletter issue, and I still have to add it on the website.

It's a day closer to us now. So it will save us 2 days of travel time it's still a 34 hour drive each way. I'm gonna start making plans now to make sure I get there this year.
