Today on the way to work I saw what I thought was a white spirit coming the other direction. Once I got close I instantly saw that it was a 2 door duster with a spirit front end. I couldnt turn around and chase them down but has anyone ever heard of it here? Me and my roomate held some spirit r/t fenders up to my shadow and they looked really close almost an exact fit but mine is a 90 so the front is a little different anyway. I wonder if on a 91+ shadow it would work?

There was a thread posted about this not long ago, w/ pics. In fact, I think the one in the pics was white also.

Probably not. Both the Spirit and the Shadow were based of the K-car platform; the G-bodies were not, if I recall.

AA, E, G, H, J, K and P are all pretty much the same...

G body uses a nose cone vs a conventional fender, bumper and grille arrangement like a P body. Not so sure about that working out.

We have already experienced the Daytegra.... who would even consider a Shadow with Daytona front end?

MPGMike was working on a ramona. rampage with a tona front end

mix and matching dodge parts comes nowhere close to the horrors of the gaytona

I think putting a Daytona front end on anything other than a Daytona is heinous lol... :yuck:

Just some old lady that drives it, Not a clue what it was and thought it was normal.
The car was just a duster but it had the spirit front. I dont think it looks bad at all.

For all these floating around, I wonder if Chrysler didn't build them themselves. I'd love to take a closer look under the hood of one and see how modified it looks. It would not be the first time Chrysler did something like this.

Or, a spirit clip is a 100% bolt on affair. Which I doubt, but its the only thing that makes any sense.

shackwrrr

I am thinking that the spirit is a bolt on affair, when you look under the hood of a spirit there is that big gap between the rad support and the grille. The shadow there isnt as much of a gap there. I have heard of people putting spirit dashes in shadows too.

Me and roomate want to build a 2 door mini spirit R/T lol.

I want to build an 87 csx'd spirit!

Just need that semi-rare front clip... 89+ shadows are ugly to me.

It did. 3.0/604 car. I tried to sell the ground effects, and no one really wanted them. This was at LEAST 5 years ago thou.

Vigo

Eh, i know how that not able to sell things problem is. We's a two-faced community about such things, fo sho.

Anyway, anybody in S. Texas wanna trade parts for an 87-88 pbody front end? :D

When you find a 2nd one send it up here to me. I've wanted to put the 87-88 front end on my 94 in the worst way after the first time seeing one.
