I have a quick question about smecs and I was wondering if you socket a computer out of a N/A car and tune it for a turbo car would the computer act the same as a turbo computer, or would it not work for some reason?

The short answer is no for tbi missing drivers.
but v6 yes but there will still be missing drivers for wastgate funtions

Actually, the V6 SMEC I have appears to be 'fully loaded' - I think it will run a turbo cal just fine (and with a spare injector driver to do who knows what with), though I've never tried.

The 3.0 V6 SBEC only has 3 injector drivers (not 4) so it will not run a turbo cal/car.

The T3 SBEC is also 'fully loaded' - it has all 4 injector drivers and 3 coil drivers (why they loaded all 3 for the T3, I don't know). So, the T3 could be used as a 'universal' SBEC. Though as rare as they are, I don't know why you would...
