Go ahead and blast me for not searching, I'm too lazy!

I just need a confirmation that this will work. I will be installing an A523 in place of the A525 in my Omni GLH soon. I was planning on getting a set of driveshafts for an '88 Omni w/automatic transaxle. I'm wanting to use the unequal length setup. Workee?

You need the 1990 "Large Spline" Omni Auto Axles.

I dont remember the year but its some were up around there and they bolt right in,advance has some real cheap lifetime ones and if you dont tell them how it broke they will replace a few before they get the idea. I think it was something aroud 70 for one side and 80 for the other, but im not real sure.

88+ automatic omni axles. I know because I just put a set in my charger today. They slid into the OBX like a...well, like something that slides right into something that it is supposed to go into. :)

Matt, are you using the equal or unequal length setup? I was hoping to use the '88 Omni/auto passenger side (long) axle as well.

If I *did* change my mind and go with equal length, would I use a P/G/H body intermediate shaft? Just trying to see what my options are here...I don't think I have an intermediate shaft that's in good shape lying around.

Unequal length. Screw trying to fab something up to use the equal length axles.

The P/G/H int. shaft is the one to use. No fabrication necessary. Be sure to get the bracket with it.:thumb:
