The more i look at them, the more i start to think they arent worth spending the time and energy to try and improve. I feel pretty certain in saying the 2.25" sv is a worse flowing piece than a 1pc intake or a stock intercooler by far.

I dont have any advice on how far you can go.. i say play it by ear, and if you cut all the way through it or it breaks on the car, send me $10 and ill mail you another one :p

Just feel it by hand regularly and you will know when it is getting thin.

It came out maybe a pinch larger than mitsu sv next to it. Running this turbo still NO ISSUES. Been a couple years....

so you arent running the bolt that goes on the inside of the sv?

Nope. 2 turbos I have are this way.
The stock sv actually covers the outlet partly, so I port matched and got rid of that troublesome bolt while I was at it..
Mitsu didn't use 5 I never heard of them breaking when properly installed, so I figured it was a good bet I could get away with it with this one.
So far I have...

I'm interested in your "ribbon" loudspeakers...

That ported one came out really well. Although, i think the 2.5" ones go for like $70, so to some people their time may be worth more than $70 to buy one (not me though, i just dont have the cutting bits.. :p ).
