im making my to do list and wondering painting the black plastics by the side window and windshield , the plan is :
1- block sand the car
2- glue the side black trim and shave them there with seam sealer
3- glue the back side wing and seam sealer on there too
4- complete body job and paint
i didnt seen a lot of all red daytona and i want be be sure ill like it before painting it , any tips are welcome

i think ill keep the black stuff , i dont whant to paint my sides louvers and the back glass louver ,

i have seen 1 t-top car with all the t-top trim painted body color and it was a good job, other then that i have not seen any i thought looked good
are these the same side louvers?

i have seen one that was all solid red. looked sharp. I considered copying for a bit, but i like the way black breaks it up. Looks real nice though. One peice of advice, i wouldn't do it with gray ground effects. the whole car would have to be a solid red, but it looks pretty mint...

i want it solid red , but the thing is if i paint it all red illhave to paint the side louvers and back louver , im not sure how its gonna turn out

I like the way the belt molding being black breaks up the top and bottom. Now the black T-Top trim might look good being body color. I always thought the section where the front fender met the window trim looked a little odd because it's so large.

yeah im planning fixing them and put them back but unsure for the color yet

all red would look bad with either set of louvers,
ill have to find it but i have a picture of a daytona with painted louvers and it looks terrible
