sweet, i asked ya a while back and it was a no go. Let me know for sure and i will paypal you or something. and of course let me know how much. I can get a rebuilt on ebay for 65 plus 20 ship which is pretty darn good, i found it last night after posting this. I will get that if i dont score one cheap or yours, etc.

i have one from 89 TII. i guess you are going to evacuate the system and clean and reoil and recharge correct? id sell mine for 45$ shipped. pretty sure if anything you can swap the pulley

i already cleaned and converted mine but then a month later the ----- seized lol. The van sat for a long time before i got it, guy said he thinks the clutch of it was bad, i did my thing with it and it seemed pretty good, till it seized. this was last summer and i NEED one asap lol. i assume 89 t2 would use the same compressor as my 89 t1?

should be, came out of a chrysler tc by maserati 89 2.2L auto, just check on like any autoparts site

can you snap me a pic of it. and fwiw, in the list od cars i have seen for my compressor, the masi was never mentioned. so idk. but yea lemme see a pic and go from there.

2.2 automatic masi car would be an 8v engine.

exactly its a 2.2L t2 automatic 8v engine and is the same compressor as my 92 2.5L daytona es compressor. just painted black because all the masi underhood components were painted black at factory

hey i didnt get to update, but it came next day and looked great!!! didnt know it was gloss black nonetheless lol. Put it in right away and been good so far "knock on wood". It seems a little louder than it should be when the clutch engages but idk. Was this thing a new/reman short time ago? seemed very clean and good shape to be on a 20 or so year old car lol.

If it's black, it's probably a reman. They were all raw aluminum when they were new.

TCs came fully painted black gloss in the engine bays

I have not noticed that to be true on any TC I've ever seen. The ones I've looked at had body colored engine bays, and raw aluminum AC compressors, with the exception of the 16 valve cars that use a radial GM style compressor that is in fact painted semi gloss black from the factory.

i had two 89s that i took apart and both had painted compressors and the 91s even have a full black 3.0 intake. either way its working and good so dont know what to say
