:wow Just got through putting a complete timing belt kit/water pump,drive belts, thermostat,coolant system fluid change,and power steering fluid change on my wifes SRT4!! It was a bi-ch!!! WAY harder to do than an old school 8V car!

Pt's have to be one of the worst cars to do a timing belt on.I freakin hate those things.

T belt and water pump, book time, on an N/A PT is 8 hours. I did it on mine, and trust me, it took 8 hours.

They must design these so you'll take the opportunity to replace the water pump, seals, idlers, and everything else on the front of the engine, because you're a fool if you don't.:nod:

Yes, I did one. I wouldn't have one of those things!

I hate doing PT Timing belts....worst ever. Give me a Kia Sedona or a V6 Nissan.....and those are BAD.

One may think the Neon timing belt is a PITA with the removal of the bracket of doom. Especially if you have a big turbo. But the PT is a real --- kicker with or without the turbo. Consider yourself lucky:amen:
