Not sure if you're taking 70 by our place or not, but we're planning a Caravan with the Buckeye guys (who are coming from the west as well) and we'll be taking 119 to I-68. 70 runs right by our place into 119 (the intersection where we're meeting the Buckeye guys on Saturday AM) if any of you want to tag along with our caravan. Probably leaving that intersection around 11 AM I'd say?

my gps says to take I-70 to I-79 to I-68 then back on to I-70 it 338 miles to I-68

68 takes alot longer than picking up the pike in New Stanton.

You guys should TP the summit building on the way there.

68 takes alot longer than picking up the pike in New Stanton.

It's actually shorter believe it or not! I thought the same but Mapquest says the following:

Turnpike would take 2 hours 53 mins. from our location to the event, totaling 161.77 miles.

40 to 68 will be 2 hours 49 mins. from our location to the event, totaling 151.38 miles.

Besides that, there's no tolls taking I-68, but its also more scenic and less of a headache due to being able to avoid all that construction on the T-pike.

Folks in our caravan will be leaving around noon and we'll be merging onto I-68 at a rough estimate around 12:30 or so for anyone coming that way, perhaps we'll merge at some point.

For some seat covers and a shifter boot, I'll do it!!!! I'll even do the jail time for vandalism. I live 20 min from there.:thumb::hail:

What time are folks getting on the road Saturday from Indy. I've been thinking about dropping down to I-70 instead of I-80 (saves about $70 in tolls for me, plus heard about lane closures on I-80 in ohio causing delays).

Coming from Chicago Saturday morning it looks like myself, Moparboyy, DJ, and Scott W.

Looks like were going to aim to meet up with a few of the southern SDAC-Chicago guys in Indy around 9am Eastern time. Going to try and roll out of the Chicago area around 4am. Benji's car tore up a rod bearing heading in to Chicago so it's in my garage now, He's going to hitch a ride with me or DJ.
