Excuse the pun. I'm trying to order new carpeting for the GTC. ACC has Essex, in the color I want (1037A Agate) and they go by year, which is good, since the earlier verts were not the same as the later ones. Problem is, its about $350 to get said carpeting. At that point Rockauto, which sells ACC looks alot better at under $200 shipped even before the TM discount. The problem is that they only offer it in black (or blue or red) which is not what I'm looking for. 1037A matches the factory Agate near perfectly based on the samples they (ACC) sent.

Am I wrong in thinking $350 for plush, correct-color carpeting is too much? Any other places besides stockinterior and A1 (whos site doesn't seem to work at the moment)?

When I got the ACC carpet for the Z the cheapest place I found was straight from ACC and it was like $100?

Well, I'm not sure what I'm missing then. I can't even find cut pile on the ACC site for anywhere near there. I got some from A1 years ago, decent carpet, not so hot fit, but it was like $110 shipped!

Here it is now (not sure why its cheaper to by ACC carpet indirect) , but whatever color I got before isn't so hot, and it was the closest match, so I think I may just have to pay the $185 from ACC to get agate cutpile. Arg!

Prices have gone up over the years, was $110 through ACC for my Shadow carpet back in 01. Sometimes you can get a deal if you order at a show where ACC or one of their vendors is present.

I looked on Rock-Auto and they list 12 colors under the Essex line for your car (there where only 4 for cut-pile). $174.79 for normal, and $213.79 with the rubber Mass backing. They don't list the same color you are looking for, but have a charcoal or dark grey that might be close.

Thanks, I requested some samples. Hopefully I can figure this out by SDAC...
