Using an srt4 engine in a daytona.
1) when running an aftermarket turbo, should there be a restrictor in the oil feed line to control oil flow?(that ive heard that somewhere i thought).

2) is there any clearance problems with the axle and the srt4 oil cooler/filter?

3) can you run the stock srt intake mani with a 523/568?

4) do i need to dowel the trans? if so where do i find detailed info on doing that?

thanks in advance:D

1. Normally only ball bearing turbos require it. On neons.org they basically say for non BB turbos if you use -3an feed line you should be fine but if you use -4an you prob need a restrictor. Personally I run a restricter on my -4an feed to my non BB Precission turbo

2. No probs with the filter but maybe with the cooler

Thanks Speed. I do believe I have a BB turbo. Bought it off srtforums a long time ago. Suppose to be an innovate 61mm bb. What size restrictor do you use and where do you put it? In the fitting on the turbo?
I guess worst case with the cooler, it gets removed.

Maybe email the turbo maker but if you go to Ebay and look up GT35R, you'll see the oil restrictors and the size.

For the trans mods, look up "turboshad" project log.
