oxygen sensor thread size?

Just pulled the old one and wanted to tap the hole, to make sure the threads are ok.

18mm x 1.5 I think.

Anyone know for certain?

Get a spark plug thread chasing tool, it's the cheapest way to go and very easy to find at most auto parts store.

Yeah, ask for a M18x1.5 tap and it's $10, ask for a Spark Plug tap and it's $20, ask for an O2 Sensor tap, and it's $30....

... and the devious countertroll will ask you what it's for, say M18x1.5 holes, or you'll end up with the $30 one :D

I couldn't find a tap that size in town, but they had lots of spark plug thread chasing tools.
