Ordered a Walpro fuel pump (older style) from Chris at TurbosUnleashed and when I pulled the old setup from my 86 Daytona I noticed it did not look anything alike. On the link below mine is the style on the left:

I did manage to get the fuel pump into the housing with the included rubber sleeves that make it fit into the old housing nice and snug but was concerned that the new pump did not have the screw on piece the older one had. Looks like some type of regulator to me. To newer just hooks directly to the fuel outlet. Just wondering if this is a problem. Has anyone successfully installed one in a 86 or older housing? Any issues? Thanks in advance!

My old one actually look like the one in this link:

Talking about the dome piece on the top. For the new setup this is eliminated. Big deal or nothing to worry about?

The last pic is the Bosch style setup, that can is a pulsator or built in reg to control the pulses, so you don't hear a knocking sound from the fuel system. The newer pump's are designed to not do this so they aren't needed anymore.
