OK, I'll reprint the GLHS T-shirts

In 2004 we(myself and another artist friend of mine) designed and printed a GLHS T-shirt. It was created from original art, silkscreened by a trained fine artist and master printer. No computer trickery, scans from a crappy photo, etc. It was very expensive to produce and when our run of shirts was gone, we didn't reprint.
I've had numerous requests over the years to reprint the shirt and the recent thread about possible future TD shirts re-ignited the interest. I discovered that I still have the films and original art for the design. Rather than continuing to hijack that thread, I've started this one.

Here's the deal. The shirts will be printed on Hane's 100% cotton, pre-shrunk white T-shirts. It will be printed on the front. The pic posted depicts the design and how it will look. We went to a lot of trouble to get the right "look"-even attempting to duplicate the metallic silver in the GLHS logo.

They will be 20.(size small through XL) and 22. for 2XL-4XL, shipped to your door via USPS. So, if you've worn yours out, gotten bigger or just didn't get one the first time-here's your chance.

Either post in this thread the sizes needed or pm me.
I'll let orders come in until the end of Sunday 5/2/10. It will take about another 7-10 days to print them. At that point, they'll be shipped out. I'll need to get orders for at least 36 shirts to make it doable-as I'll need to burn screens and re-order the silver ink, etc.

No. Printing on darker colors requires a white base, resulting in a too thick print, IMO. Additionally,this image was designed for a white shirt, the white areas in the design are the white of the shirt showing through. Other colors would require a redesign.

Knowing that a couple of you wanted the shirts as soon as possible for an upcoming event, I'll close off the orders at the end of Sunday. That way I can get working on them sooner. OK, latest update. We got back a bit later from the Shelby event than I thought. We are now back and sending out the shirts. All shirts should be packaged and shipped by Thursday with many going out tomorrow.

Also, one of the socal guys wanted some sweatshirts and longsleeve shirts.
I printed a couple extras.
Sweatshirts I have two 2XL and two XL
Longsleeve, I have one 3XL, two 2XL and one XL extra. If anyone wants one of these added to their order, they are 25. for either item.

Once all shirts are shipped, I'll post a list of any extra sizes that remain. Not very many at this point.

No worries. We just do white-better design accuracy and the ink doesn't have to be so thick(like on a black shirt) that it feels like a raincoat.:D

yea, i read all that later yesterday, i had posted up excited when i seen the printed shirt and was like whoa im grabbing one, assuming not thinking it wouldnt come on a dark color or any color other than white for that matter. I hadnt even seen the pics when i posted up, then i went back and looked at everything good when you posted the above comment haha. Then i was still going to but i was like eh i better not. I dont want to destroy such a nice shirt, and i know i will and i will be pissed, so someone that does good with white might as well take it. Heck i just ruined 2 white shirts recently cus i went against my better judgement and yea they are looking pretty shitty. Tried bleaching and i cant get them clean. Between my kids and all they cant stay clean lol.
