I am going to have the vehicle painted in a year or so but in the mean time, are there any tips to keep the rust in the tail gate lip from spreading further in my humid garage. Some have suggested getting a dehumidifier in the garage but that isn't really practical.
Should I wire brush it and clean it up? Or soak it with an oil of some sort? Or what do you guys suggest?
