On a square tooth cam sprocket, how many degrees does the cam timing change when jumping the belt one tooth?

How many degrees of adjustment are available with an aftermarket adjustable cam sprocket?

(I'm machining my own adj. cam sprocket)

I thought 1 tooth is 9 degrees.
I think my gear is 15 degrees each way, I don't remember exactly, I haven't
seen it in like 6 months.:(

360/number of teeth = degrees per tooth

The fidanza cam car is 12 degrees both ways.

The cam gear has 40 teeth so each tooth is worth 9 cam degrees. Since the crank spins twice for every revolution of the cam, one tooth off at the cam is 18 crank degrees.
