Hi,

I'll put it in a tote and get it weighed Monday.:thumb:

When everything calms down today I'll drag it out in the sunshine and get a couple pictures of the transmission and I'll snap a couple of the linkage also.

What is the final drive of the trans?

Didn't all the GLHT cars come with a 3.50 FD?

I thought that there were two FDs available. Knowing 525s I usually expect them to have been replaced at some point.

To my knowledge in the GLHT the FD was 3.56 (was wrong above thats for the 520) and the NA GLH was 3.87. You do have a point could have been replaced with an NA 3.05 FD trans.

Howdy,

As I stated, it's a 525 out out of a GLHT. That "T" had been a--packed hard.

Too bad really, because it was a really good driving rust free car. I drove the car before I parted it. It only had 56K on it when it had been crunched. I bought it from the original owner and he never mentioned having the trans replaced.

The trans is a 3.56 manufacture date 2/6/85. I downloaded a picture of the tag.

Still have the trans.

You'll need to put one of these transmissions back in if you want your GLHS to become a collector car someday. :D

This would be for the trans only as I sold the shift linkage.

Fedex says 126.00 to your door. Would be less delivered to a business, maybe less if you picked it up at fedex. You'd have to call and ask 'em.

Don't junk it, I might have a buyer for it here in Indiana! If bought we'll pick it up.

Sounds good,

I've had it for years, it's too sweet to junk. The GLH it was in didn't even have 60K on it.

Do you still have this...I might have a different buyer! I would be the one picking it up and paying for it...in CASH!

I could throw in a broken 555 for another $60 bucks and you'd have a do-it-yourself hybrid kit! :thumb:
