as much as i know you hate them, i just LOVE the look of the whale tail on the L body...it really sets the car off and makes it much more noticeable and appealing.

guess we will see how it holds up this year, if all goes well i should be burning 125-130mph in the quarter :D

one of the boys was able to snag up a NOS one still in the package for me during the GL SDAC parts auction for the late bill G.

ok WTF is a duck tail?!?!

and dont tell me its a tv show lol

yes there was 2 whale tails there, NOS. the windsor guys scooped them up. as for a duck tail. i plan to go myself the next time they do this again, if i find one ill def snag it!

btw what year hatch was the whale tail for? im guessing they changed bolt locations at some point? 85+ ? no biggy. a drill and hole saw will make quick work of the install.

I really want to see some pics of the duck tail spoiler for the 4 door cars. I think one could really set off the louvers on my car.

I take it that they do exist, but you know they are rare when nobody has a pic of one...

I think the whale tails have their own pattern for bolt locations, not 100% sure though.

It just kinda pops up at the end of the hatch. Best reference I can think of is the 82 Mustang GT or 70 1/2 Camaro??
