I have two '87 Shelby Lancers for sale. Both are projects. Both original California cars.
I'm not interested in parting either one out so please no parts request from the cars.
First car: 5-speed, no Pioneer, dash tag missing, was Thrifty rental car originally. Used to be my daily driver but developed a knocking noise in engine and I quit driving it in 2001. Has an '87 CSX steering wheel on it. Everything else is pretty much there. Needs paint, interior work and very minor rust repair (on hatch). California Non-op registration.
Second car: Automatic, no Pioneer, dash tag is there. Not running, head has been off car since around 1997. I got the car as a parts car but it is pretty complete. Bad paint. Cylinders are rusty from being exposed. Head, intake, exhaust, turbo, ect is in trunk. Was told transmission was good when parked. I have the California pink slip but never transfered it over. Should be no problem to resurrect it.
Must sell due to storage issues. Asking $2500 or reasonable offer for the pair. Will consider offer on each car if you don't want both. Must be picked up in San Diego. Serious inquiries only.
