Just went a couple hours ago and picked up an 89 Daytona Shelby (thanks Nate for helping) Blue over silver TII, t-tops, leather digital dash and only 87k miles. The guy that had it blew the turbo so he pulled the engine, 555 and about everything else under the hood. Everything is there and just needs put back together along with a turbo rebuild. The car is amazingly in good shape and the pumpers have all the center caps and very little if any curb rash. I'll get some pics later.

I thought you were all about "...keeping it on the DL."

At least that is what you told me. Now what are you going to do with it?? :eyebrows:

Very minor rust on the rocker on driver side and when I say minor I mean most people wouldn't see it. I originally bought it to part our but is WAY too nice.

Here's some pics right after coming off the trailer. Needs cleaned but will clean up nice. Did I mention it has an MP computer and 804 injectors? I looked at the center caps and they are perfect too.

The guy bought it off of an SDAC member back in Sept 99 with 68230 miles and now has 87054. I keep finding more goodies in the glovebox and hatch. I think this thing has EVERY option in 89 Leather, cassette with the seperate cd player below, air horn, fog lights, t-tops, digital dash, airbag etc are there any other strange options that were available in 89?

If it EVER quits raining I'll clean the thing up.

It does have cruise and uses the TC style bracket on the battery tray. It has the air horn that was standard on the 88 Pacificas

Nope just went and looked was that an option on the 89 Shelby's? I found some paperwork, the original owner was Curtis Day Sr purchased at Palmer Dodge in Indy on 05-16-89 with 15 miles on it

Not sure what the first year was for the rear wiper option, but it went until at least 92, as my IROC has it.

John, if you enlarge the interior shot you can (kinda) identify the 12 button...

i have seen it on a few 89s and have seen first gens with the rear wiper louvers installed so i assume they even had it

i see the 12 button now is there i cant really think of any other options it could have
they didn't start the factory alarm till 91 right?

I looked it up and it could have the rear wiper or the louvers but alas it does not have either.
