Also, did ANY of the 86 GLHS's come with a Shelby valve cover? If so, what number did they start at?

And that is where the Mobil 1 plaque was located, on the valve cover between the oil fill cap and the T of the word Turbo. See pic below ..

That is correct, the cover valve covers were painted silver.

I believe Barry has some also. I'm sure he'll chime in seeing as he's already been in this thread. If I remember correctly, he had some Mobil1 plaques for several of the Shelby cars. I think at one time they were in the SDAC online store.

I could use one for my CSX-T too, thanks... I do have some CSX plaques also. While the 87 & 89 CSX's came with the plaques, the 88's did not. But you can add one if you wish. They are all $20 each including shipping.

huh? I thought CSX-T's had the plaque, since the CSX-T Shelby manual talks all about using mobil 1................

Yeah there is a reference in the CSX-T owner's manual, but that is as far as it went.

BTW, when you specify [color=black] in your message, what you type does not show up on the dark screen version of this board. I had to switch back to the light (default) version to read your post.
