I have heard that someone tried to run a regular SBEC on a T3 car by splitting the coil signal into 2 to drive the coil packs.
Has anyone seen this?
Have any links or pics or diagrams?
I searched but no dice :(
The reason to do so would be easier to do my own cal

I'm working on some hardware to do this sort of thing. However, you need to know the position of the crank (or cam) to be able to split the signal (and 2 outputs). If you're going to be driving the sbec with a distributor and HEP setup, you might as well do the whole spark setup at this point. I'm not sure when I'll be done, but I'm hoping to get video of a LM running batch fired COP (on the bench) this weekend :) .

Just run a dist and then you can use a SMEC or SBEC.

True, does anyone have a link to info for a cam driven distributor for a T3?
