'00 neon srt swap begins...

starting the swap. 2002 plymouth neon LX auto. soon to be 2000/2004 srt-4 5 spd :evil: i just got all the paperwork cleared on the car so now im gonna start pulling stuff apart and dive into this thing. getting it all ready, then hopefully in a week or so i will have the srt-4 motor ready to drop in. sucks building cars in my driveway. seems like it always ends up being when it's cold out too lol thats ok more time in the summer for drag radials :D

the best part.... i'm planning on doing a weekend swap. pull it in on a friday night, i'll have EVERYTHING set out, ready to go, pull the car in the shop, pull the motor/wiring/etc, move the coolant res, install the pedals, shifter,cables,hydraulic clutch master cyl, drop the new motor/trans in, wire her up and hopefully drive her home that monday. i need to sell the motor from my 2 door so i have the rest of the cash to get the rest of the parts.

update... just picked up a jeep load of parts..... im doing the swap this wekeend but wont have it running... i need an intake manifold, shift cables, and a clutch slave cylinder. but i will get the motor/trans and everything else in the car this weekend. (i hope...) :D

and yeah the wheels are a lil too large for my taste, but for $50 i couldnt pass them up! they will be painted though. they were on a subaru thats why they're gold. lol the outside of the car will remain just about as it is in the last pic. only thing i might change is put '04 front bumper and headlights on it. i want it looking stock on the outside
