Does anyone have pics of how they have their TU fuel rail plumbed in their car? I will be doing this shortly, and wanted to get a feel for what every one is doing.

Supply line enters on the passenger's side. Return leaves the driver's side, runs thru a fuel pressure gauge T, on to the AFPR next to the fender, and then off to the official tank return line. My stock supply line is my return line, and I have a larger supply line.

I plumbed my billet rail with the feed on the drivers side and return on the passenger. I used "earl's" 350 psi nylon braided line (3' section) to get the fuel to the drivers side. Available at Turbo's unleashed.

Wow, that was a quick response. Thanks guys. I would love to see any other ideas though.

Thanks again!

I just did mine today. I've decided to run a 3/8 inch supply line and use the 5/16 stock line as the return. From the supply line, I go to the driver side of the rail. Out of the passenger side of the rail to the passenger strut tower where I have my universal AFPR mounted. From there, it goes to the stock 5/16 hard line to go back to the tank. My lines are teflon lined braided stainless that I got at the local tractor supply. They crimped all the JIC fittings on for me. Very easy...and MUCH cheaper than the aluminum fittings I bought before.

I'll get some tomorrow when I go up to the garage. I'm working on moving out of my apartment right now, so I'm a bit busy.

My dad laughed and said we'd start moving out 12 hours before checkout time. We actually started 15 hours before checkout time...we showed him :amen:

here is a overall shot of the regulator system. I ran a 180 deg fitting out of the end of the rail and the braided hose follows the back of the rail to the regulator. I will post a close up pic of the rail when i get home tonight.

Thanks for the added pics Chris. I can't wait to get all the parts on my omni so it will finally be ready to go fast again.

I hear ya, its only been 2 weeks and I am going into boost withdrawal. I must admit though, I am driving my 75 B250 van with 400 ft/lbs at the wheels, kinda fun, :thumb:

Good lord, I don't think I will be able to hear B250 or B350 without recoiling in horror after working in a tire shop for 7 years.

 Its sooo ugly, green with rusty 1/4's, I put a raised roof on it so I sleep in it when racing. Its got the loudest Flowmasters known to man and a very warmed over 360. It sounds mean and can easily tow 6000 lbs. I love it. :amen:

Post #8 in this thread is actually the FWDP/LWP rail, correct? Looks just like the one I put on my Shelby Lancer aside from the color. I simply used NPT fittings with push-on hose barbs though since I didn't have time to put together those fancy AN fittings and braided hose.

That is what I was thinking since the FPR is attached to the rail in the stock manner.

Did you have clearance for the injectors on yours? I'm going to have to notch mine to get clearance (won't be a big problem). It's a FWDP two-piece rail. I'm going to feed from both ends with a 't' and use a fuel pressure hose adaptor in the 3/8 hose.

I have the FWDP rail for the 2-pc intake on my Shelby Lancer and Omni GLH Turbo and I didn't have to notch or clearance anything to fit the MP +20 injectors. I also have the FWDP rail on my TIII Spirit R/T and I did have to do some very minor grinding on the FPR bracket so the Accufab would fit a little better.

I apologize for being unclear, what I meant was clearance for the injector harness connectors, not the injectors themselves.

So the fuel goes in the passenger side and then right out the passenger side through the FPR? Not starving the other cylinder's for fuel you don't think? Just doesn't seem like a good idea.

You shouldn't have to.

And yes I know this thread was dead :)
