Other than the crackhead stats, it looks like a nice car. Wish it were close enough to take a look at.

Wow, my tinkered with Turbo III is a total dog then. I wonder where all my mph is...

Other than the seller being clueless about the car, it's actually an interesting find. I've never seen an ES in that color and I agree with Mike - if it were closer to me I'd be going to look at (probably would only offer half of his asking price though).

That thing would be sweet as a daily driver with those comfy ES/RT power buckets and an auto (doubt a 2.5 T1 Auto gets 32 mpg on the highway though...LOL).

reports say 1/4 mile=13sec. at 120 mph

Wonder what "reports" or web page he got that off of? :confused2:

Call me crazy, but my 92 GTC got 32 on the highway. The new owner actually drives the speed limit and he claims 35. It was stock except for a turbo back 3" exhaust.

Probably someone who doesn't know. Seems like a decent owner and car.

My '89 LeBaron GT 'vert with 2.5L Turbo I Auto (non-lockup) has no problem getting 32mpg running 60mph on the highway.

Yeah, something isn't right on your end. Heck my R/T gets 30-31 cruising at 70-75. Omni only gets 22, both in town & highway. :confused2:

Wow - how the heck are you guys knocking down those kind of mpg numbers with an auto? I've owned and daily driven a shadow and a lebaron with autos (both 88's with the 2.2 t1), as well as an 89 turbo mini auto, and they all got around 24 mpg on the highway.

Must be those huge mountain passes we have here in Connecticut :D

Well while it is flatter around here than a 9 year old girl, I'm thinking that maybe you had inefficient converters with some laid-over vanes?

I actually found a Spirit ES identical to this one in '07 at a junkyard. Paid $400 for it and drove it out the junkyard with a clear title. It became an insanely nice donor car after it got wrecked by a deer. (Not by me) Pic.

No I will never own any T3 car other than to part it out and sell parts off the thing like everyone else does here.

I contacted the guy about his production numbers being for the R/T and he responded with the following e-mail....a bit discomboobliated......

"Ok . Thanks i thought that was some what hi . This car sold in 3 days on a dark wet late
night . Just for fun go to Yahoo.com type in 'dodge spirit turbo' & look for 'burnout' . I got all these calls and emails so i told one of a 224 hp 2 cam in dallas & after 2 months of adds it was sold the next day ."
