View Full Version : Suspension: L-body knuckles needed
I need a pair of knuckles for my 84 GLH I am rebuilding. Preferably non-rusty and in decent shape. It really doesn't matter if the hubs have been removed since I plan on putting in new ones anyway. If anyone has a pair in good condition please let me know.
Thanks,
Dan

sure pm me your email address. I am thinking of going down to the shop tomorrow to work on a project, so I could snap a pic of them.
I've got a pair off an 85 GLh as well, lmk if the other offer falls through and I can get you specifics on them.
PS please PM as I don't check here all the time.

I have a pair off an '84 Shelby Charger, one has a brand new hub bearing already installed. $100 shipped for the pair. I can get pics also if interested.

the 85's won't work if there 5-lug btw, unless your swapping to 5-lug then the rest won't work
Thanks to those of you who replied. PM's sent with my e-mail address for pics. I plan on keeping the car 4-lug, so I guess I'll have to pass on the 85 GLH spindles. Unless you can take out the 5-lug hub and press in a 4-lug one. Does anyone know if the spindles are different for the 4-lug vs. 5-lug hubs? Basically can I take a spindle off a 5-lug car and put a 4-lug hub in it?
Thanks again,
Dan

no the thicknesses in the bearings / spindles are different
plus the earlier ball joints were different also (smaller)

if you want to go 5-lug all around i have everything
Thanks for the info and the offer, but I am going to stick with 4-lug. This little project is sucking up enough money without having to invest in sets of 5-lug wheels.

I have a pair with 64K original from my 84 Rampage that I'll no longer need. Let me know if there are any other parts you may need suspension wise also.
