Being that a lot of us are driving quite a ways to SDAC this year (900 miles for us one way) I'm sure not many are gonna wanna keep sluggin' the gas pedal to keep it going. Besides, you get better fuel economy with cruise anyways.
Since intercoolering my car I was forced to surrender my cruise. Last night I had an idea, time, a big a$$ piece of aluminum, and I was bored, so it all worked out! :thumb:
I started with the needed supplies.

Little did I know that you'd be needing a lot more than what's on the table.
From there I drew up a template of what the bracket needed to measure and look like. I decided I'd mount the bracket on the driver side strut tower.

Then I took the outer measurements and drew them on my big, fat sheet of aluminum. It measured 10 3/4" by 4".

Don't forget to debur it.

Here's what it looks like once cut out. I used a cut off wheel, that by the way, took forever to cut. I kept losing pressure real fast. I took atleast a half hour to cut it out. :banghead:

I then placed it in a vice and bent it according to what my template measured per each 45* angle transition. By the way those were 3", 4", 3 3/4". Which equals 10 3/4" with two 45* bends. I took a straight edge to make sure it was a full 90*.
