I just picked up what I thought was a NOS never installed slider window for my Rampage for what I thought was an insanely good price.

Well, I did not get what I thought I was getting.

It is a replacement, but an aftermarket one, that has been either custom designed for the Rampage to solve the leaky seals, or a universal fit deal and I am afraid it is the latter.

It is contained in an Aluminum frame and has a lip that is supposed to fit in the grove of the weatherstripping that installs on the lip of the truck.

The old one I took off was just glued to the outside of the truck and was leaking in several spots.

Pics are coming soon, but I need some guidance as to what stock is supposed to look like and if anyone has EVER seen this product.

Thanks guys and gals!

OK here is the inside of the window as you can see the slider lock.

OK Here is a side view of the window showing the bigger lip is to the inside side of the window and the shallow lip is to the outside of the window.

I need to find the weatherstrip first, as I think I have it figured out.

The company that makes it is out of business, but at least it came with the original box and there were instructions, but it is very universal.

Well thank you gentlemen!

The couch I BOUGHT from my grandmother's estate as my deadbeat uncle swindled her out of hundreds of 1000s of dollar and by the time we got the authorities involved, the only way any of us could get any heirlooms was to pay for them at the estate sale.

Well, payback is a MFr. He just went default on a home equity loan on my Great-grandmother's house that he convinced my grandmother to give to him. I am going to buy the mortgage and make him pay ME back and if he doesn't, I am going to seize everything he has and have all of his bank accounts closed until I am paid in full.

I think I willl call the loan in next month, infull.

I'm not bitter.

My wife picked out the material and my dad's parents reupolstered it for us.

LOVE the couch!

I used to be a Windberg fan but for the past 10 years, Ansel is my man!

Anyways, the window is weird.

I am so pissed at myself for not looking closer at the pics the seller sent me, as if I had, I probably would not have bought it.

It will work, but I think there may have been some special weatherstripping that went with this window and I don't have it.

It is also just another FN project that I am going to have to figure out.

I think I may have figured it out. No weatherstripping is needed; it may just be a direct glue in installation similar to the stock window.
