Wow! I just replaced the spring in the VE pump with a Bosch '366' 3200 RPM spring. What a difference. Total drivability upgrade.

Basically, these trucks start defueling at 2800 RPM stock, and with the $16 spring it fuels up to 3200 RPM, well within the acceptable range of the motor.

It changes the fueling throughout the RPM range, so from idle to stomping it on the highway, the truck is an entirely different animal.

GOOD STUFF! :)

Where did you get it? Notice any MPG loss? My neighbour want's to tweak his but he's scared of losing his MPG.

I just finished doing the job about 3 hours ago. Took it for a test drive for about 5 minutes and parked it.

I'll have to let you know about the mileage...a lot of that has to do with the ol' foot, though. ;)

i put a 4k kit in my 98 sounds meaner than a pissed of pack of westnile mesquitos with my 5in exhaust.

i dyno b4 springs 362hp 766ftlbs mods were no plate mac plug intake and exhaust

same mods but with springs 375hp 966ftlbs

and yes the springs change the entire attitude of the truck i never went past 3500 i could feel power fall off fast
