90+ P body steering column

No slop in the tilt mechanism either.

I have a '93 column in the shop, I'll have to check if it's tilt.

All of the Accustar colums are tilt.
Some just do not have the lever installed.
Take the covers off and you'll see where it goes.
I don't know if they are vehicle specific. I'd say yes.

I wish it was that easy. The old non tilt column and the tilt column are both the same basic design but you can see on the tilt column where they welded the pivot mounting points onto the column and attached the pivoting head. The fixed position column just has an aluminum insert slipped in and held in place with machine screws.


And both had "P" stamped onto them in the same spot so they probably are vehicle specific.
