Need your manual gear shafts repaired, bearing kits with shifter fork pads!

Not sure if you want this but I can offer it as I just had a 555 main shaft repaired. They put a proper Rockwell hardness sleeve on and machine down to specs. I can also get bearing kits with the shift fork pads.

I have to drive 2 hours each way so if you want this done, turn around is 1-2 weeks.

Prices start at $150 for the shaft repairs and $200 for the bearing kits, $300 with synchro rings. 523/568/543 kits with synchro's are around $400.

There not cheap I know. Drive-train.com lists a 523/568 overhaul kit with synchros for $475 but I dont know if they include shift fork pads ? I called and talked to someone and they didnt know if the "small parts" package included them or not. and the 1,2,5 fork pads are NS1 from chrysler also. KC article needs to be updated.

Yeah, I know about the pads, I had a local guy rob my good ones out of my spare 555, now I know better, :thumb:

Yeah, I thought I posted that up, they are about $100 more with synchro's.

As long as the shaft isn't too small, I can get any shaft repaired.
