well the head gasket went out so we decided to do it all right and replace everything while we were at at. Its a daily driver so not too many perf. parts went on it. MLS head gasket, ARP head studs, head resurfaced and pressure checked, 3" exhaust, magnacore wires, poly wngine mounts(see pic), timming belt, and now shes intercooled agian (factory =( ) but at least thats a start. She should be running today!

side not. when i installed the ps engine mount. i put the spacer back in. Should i have left them out? It looks like the engine may set high on the ps now?

Looks good. I would leave them in, it probably looks higher due to the mount not being smushed.

SO i got the engine all back together and it starts and runs and all. but at 2000 RPM it studder and bucks then after 2000 like 2100and up shes revs smoooooth and fast. Before 2000 it revs fine and then boom just starts bucking. I checked the TPS and i couldnt find a dead spot. IS it possible to be 1 tooth off on timing? I replaced everything that bolts onto the head so im not ever sure where to start looking!

any help would be greatly appreciated

Good to see more R/Ts get up and running!

I'm about to get mine running again and another guy in town here is about done with his too.

well it ended up being the timing. I tore everything back apart and re-did the timing belt and sure enough. Got her all back together and she runs better than new!

thanks for your imput. I really dreaded doing it agian but now i got it down to about 30 mins from begining to end on the T-belt!
